Each THMSBL season begins usually in late April, and run through September. Games are played Saturday nights, or on Sundays. Some teams may choose to practice on their own through the week. Teams will play only one 9 inning game weekly, unless a double header is scheduled in the event of scheduling issues or make-up games. League fees are based on each player contributing $150 yearly. This fee is paid to the local league to offset the expenses of the league including facility maintenance and umpiring costs. Paid players are also registered as members of our National Organization, MSBL/MABL. You can visit the nation web page from the link from our home page. This affiliation opens players up to benefits including insurance coverage (via local league), complimentary subscription to Hardball Magazine, our national publication. Players are also eligible to receive discounts from Avis Rent-A-Car, Anaconda Sports Store, and some travel costs through MSBL Travel. As a member of MSBL, players are also eligible to travel to any number of national tournaments, held all across the US and the Caribbean. Our national organization is over 43,000 strong, all of us doing what we love most, playing baseball! |
