| Doug Breneman memorial |
On Sunday, June 20, 2004, members of the Astros and the White Sox participated in the formal dedication of the plaque remembering the late Doug Breneman. Doug's wife, Janet attended the brief cermony. She expressed her sincere thanks to those who donated to keep Doug's memory alive at Haley Field.
The plaque honoring the memory of Doug Breneman was installed at Haley Field on June 14. I want to thank those that donated to keep Doug's memory alive: Billy Carter, Eddie Marvel, Gene Sinclair, and Tim Bloodworth.
